Impulse Adjusting

Just as lasers have replaced scalpels in some surgeries, advanced technology has become available to chiropractors to assist in delivering chiropractic adjustments. Your chiropractor and thousands of other doctors around the world now use the Impulse Adjusting Instrument® in the care of their patients.

This patented and FDA registered device was specifically created to deliver gentle and precise chiropractic adjustments to the joints of the spine and extremities to relieve pain and restore function. The Impulse Adjusting Instrument® is controlled by micro-computer circuitry housed within the device that produces a controlled force that chiropractors can use to treat different areas of the body. Impulse adjusting is a new technique developed to provide controlled treatments to the specific areas you’re having trouble with.

Activator Methods

The Activator Method chiropractic technique is a type of manual manipulation treatment used by chiropractors to treat various types of back and neck pain, as well as extremity complaints. This treatment method uses the Activator adjusting instrument, which is an alternative to traditional manipulation utilizing a high velocity, low amplitude (HVLA) thrust, such as the Diversified technique.

K-Laser Therapy

K-Laser, also known as High Power Laser Therapy, targets damaged tissue with specific wavelengths of light that have been found to interact with tissue and accelerate the healing process.

Much like photosynthesis in plants, light energy passes through the skin, into the cell membrane, initiating a process called photobiostimulation. This process enhances the body’s natural regenerative functions, as well as stimulating the release of endorphins and collagen. It may eventually even normalize damaged or injured tissue.

Spinal Decompression

Spinal Decompression Therapy is a traction-based procedure that is safe, non-invasive, pain- free and drug-free. It is one of the leading, long-term treatment options for people suffering from neck pain, back pain, pinched nerves, disc herniation and sciatic leg pain.

Decompression Therapy works by gently stretching your spine in a safe and controlled manner, effectively creating a negative pressure allowing for increased oxygenation and nutrient circulation to the discs and joints in your spine. As your disc restores itself back to its natural state, back and neck pain decrease, often resulting in major, long-lasting improvements in pain.

Neuropathy Treatment

At Kimble Chiropractic Center, we take a very different approach to treating peripheral neuropathy. Our care is designed to address the cause of the neuropathy, by encouraging and accelerating the healing of the damaged nerves.

To begin with, we will address any direct pressure that may be impinging on the involved peripheral nerves. This may include spinal adjustments as well as the application of fascial release techniques along the course of the nerve. Next, we will conduct a thorough neurologic and metabolic evaluation, including blood tests. This process allows us to identify the issues behind the neuropathy and address them accordingly so that a complete recovery is possible.
